Hypnotherapy:

I decided to become a hypnotherapist to help people change lifelong habits, take back control of their lives, and empower themselves. I have seen many benefits from patients receiving hypnotherapy, which includes manifesting a positive change in emotional issues, physical ailments, and mental abilities. Hypnotherapy activates the “mind over matter” pathway to success and is an easy way to reprogram your mind for your own success.

Everyone experiences hypnosis throughout each day. It occurs just before you fall asleep and just as you awaken. Other good examples are when you are driving and do not remember exactly how you arrived at your destination, or losing track of time when reading a good book. Hypnosis is simply a state of heightened relaxation and focused awareness.

When you are relaxed in this way, it is possible to contact your subconscious mind (right brain) and to quiet your critical mind (left brain). The subconscious mind is the part of the mind that contains wisdom and a deep level of intelligence. It is a resource for creativity and imagination.

The subconscious mind is where all of your emotions reside, and therefore directs nearly all of your behavior. It is responsible for maintaining the body in good health by controlling all of your involuntary body actions (examples: breathing and digesting).

I have found that by helping patients contact their subconscious minds through hypnosis, their desired changes can be made to improve the quality of their lives.

“Feeding Your Demons”:

I wanted to take my work with hypnosis a step further by finding a technique that would help patients really target the issues that were troubling them the most. In this way, they could have the greatest success by facing it in their mind’s eye and releasing it.

I found Lama Tsultrim Allione from Tara Mandala in Pagosa Springs, Colorado where I studied to become a Certified Facilitator based upon her “Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict” practice, which is based on ancient Tibetan Buddhist teachings.

By focusing on your subconscious mind (right brain) and quieting your judgmental mind (left brain), you can identify, feed, and nurture your “demons” (anything that has been a cycle of behavior that plagues or blocks you). By acknowledging your demons, rather than ignoring or battling them, you can release and free yourself from them. You can then call upon an “ally” to help support you through future episodes in your life that used to trigger you into your previous cycle of behavior.

By combining my hypnotherapist training with my “Feeding Your Demons” training, I have been able to have the tools to help patients release negative cycles of behavior, to help them achieve the following:
